He did his graduation in Sales & Marketing from American International University Bangladesh and post-graduation Executive MBA in International Business Management from Masterminds Business School-London. He is a young Industrialist. He started his business journey in 2000. 
He has an aim to contribute to the social and economic development of his country through quality leadership. He is also a renowned face in Bangladesh as a motivational speaker. He is into the service industry as well as the manufacturing industry. He is the Founder & Managing Director of Plus Group of Companies.
Shanto has five different companies under this Plus Group. These are-

- Colorplus Masterbatch Mfg. Co. Ltd.-Manufacturer of Coloring agent for coloring plastic named “Masterbatch”.
- Mountain Club Tours- One of the best travel agencies in the tourism industry in Bangladesh.
- Multilinks Trading-Trader of all plastic-related raw materials.
- Masterbatch Plus Co. Ltd.
Besides that, he is a lifetime member of some renowned clubs in Dhaka, Board Director of Out Bound Tour Operators of Bangladesh. He has also been awarded a “Young Entrepreneurship” in Bangladesh. He is also a board director of the Nepal-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce Industry and a member of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Rezaul Hakim Shanto is vastly renowned for his initial venture ‘Mountain Club Tours‘. He is expanding his business in the UAE and African countries, building its position abroad.
